Sweden has a mild temperate climate in  despite it`s northern latitude, mainly because of the Gulf Stream. In the north of Sweden a sub-Arctic climate predominates. North of the Arctic Circle, the sun never sets for part of each summer, and in the winter, night is similary unending. In Southern and central Sweden , summers are warm with cooler evenings.

Stockholm  may be one of the most beautiful capitals in the world. Stockholm is a town of differences - water and land, history and future, village and city, short winterdays and long summerdays. Stockholm has been the political and economic centre of Sweden since the 13th century.

Today Stockholm Municipality is the largest of the municipalities of Sweden, with a population of 795,163 and with suburbs around 1,252,020 million people.
