Me and my sister Christine where interested in our family history and due to our interest we hired a genealogist. Through the genealogical research we learned about our relatives and their immigration to the USA. We now know that we have relatives in different parts of the USA, but that everybody originally came from Sweden and Vimmerby to Jamestown.

It came to our mind that people in our big related  family, as well as other Americans with a Swedish background might be interested in visiting Sweden and get acquainted with their ancestor´s homeland.
